Preschool Program Aide (3263)

The preschool program aide assists classroom staff with all activities, including lesson plans, field trips, and outdoor activities, while also supervising children during meals to encourage good nutrition and social skills. This role involves maintaining a clean classroom, assisting with material preparation, and potentially serving as a temporary substitute for other staff members.

A high school diploma or g.e.d. Is required, and candidates must successfully complete 45 hours of florida child care facility training within 12 months of hire, along with obtaining first aid and cpr certification within 90 days. Candidates must also pass a level ii background screening, local criminal record check, health, tb, and drug screening prior to employment.
