Core responsibilities
The clinical counselor will provide individual and group counseling utilizing a brief therapeutic model to address student mental health needs, alongside providing consultation to faculty and staff regarding student mental health issues. Responsibilities also include facilitating psycho-Educational groups, providing supervision for trainees, and engaging in outreach and policy advocacy activities.
Requirements summary
A minimum of a master's degree in counseling and at least four years of licensed counseling experience are required, along with current wisconsin licensure (Lpc, licensed psychologist) or the pursuit thereof upon hire. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including public speaking experience, are also necessary.
