PointersWay Peer Mentor

The peer mentor will interact with and mentor approximately 60-70 first-Year low-Income and/Or first-Generation students, planning and leading recreational activities and group discussions. Responsibilities also include enforcing program rules, responding to medical emergencies, and completing required tracking and reporting.

Applicants must be current undergraduate students, at least half-Time, at the university of wisconsin-Stevens point in good academic standing, holding sophomore standing or higher. Required skills include strong written and interpersonal communication, familiarity with uwsp campus resources, and the ability to handle sensitive student concerns professionally.
