Infant Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher is responsible for the overall supervision and daily functions of a group of children, observing all health and safety regulations, and assessing each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis. They must implement approved lesson plans, maintain an attractive classroom, and assist with parent-Teacher conferences and student evaluations.

Candidates must possess a love for small children, an enthusiastic demeanor, and a strong work ethic, holding at least a high school diploma or ged, with an early childhood degree or cda preferred. Required qualifications include meeting local regulatory agency standards, cpr/First aid certifications, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
