Phlebotomist

Phlebotomists are responsible for drawing blood and collecting other specimens, such as urine and cultures, within the student health & wellness center lab. They also process necessary information within the electronic health record (Ehr) system.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or ged, completion of a formal phlebotomy training program or certification, and prior healthcare experience. Candidates must possess the ability to work patiently with students and react calmly in emergencies.
