Primary duties involve teaching assigned didactic and/Or immersive nursing courses in graduate and/Or undergraduate programs, supervising and evaluating student progress in coursework and clinical experiences. Responsibilities also include serving on committees, advising students, developing curriculum, and maintaining community partnerships.

Requirements summary

Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in nursing (Abds considered if earned before appointment) and a master's degree in nursing, along with a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice as an rn/Aprn and 5 years of nursing education teaching experience. A current unencumbered texas rn license and all necessary aprn certification requirements are mandatory.
