Paraprofessional

The paraprofessional assists certified student services staff by implementing classroom accommodations outlined in students' 504 plans or ieps, which includes monitoring progress and collecting accurate data. This role also involves working with students individually or in small groups to reinforce coursework and assisting staff with classroom behavior management to maintain an orderly and focused environment.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position, and prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred. Employment is conditional upon passing a background check and verifying legal authorization to work in the united states.
