Activities Coordinator

The coordinator works directly with individuals with developmental disabilities by conducting group and individual recreation activities tailored to their needs, capabilities, and interests. This role involves determining necessary safety precautions and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to implement meaningful activities emphasizing individual preferences.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience working with developmentally disabled adults, including planning and conducting activities for this population. A valid driver's license, registration, and insurance are required if providing transportation, and certification as an activity coordinator is preferred.
