Core responsibilities
The liaison therapist will provide face-To-Face consultation with classroom teachers to foster positive, trauma-Informed learning environments and deliver psycho-Educational groups and support to at-Risk youth. Responsibilities also include liaising between families and schools, assisting with the iep process, and addressing specific mental health or behavioral issues through therapy services.
Requirements summary
A master's degree in clinical psychology, mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy is required, or a master's in a related field with specific behavioral health coursework. A minimum of one year of experience providing treatment to individuals with mental health disorders is necessary, though internship experience may count for recent graduates.
