Preschool Substitute Teacher

Preschool substitute teachers implement various teaching methods and techniques while ensuring the classroom runs smoothly by covering duties as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining classroom order, developing staff relationships, treating students kindly, and assisting with toileting and diaper changing when necessary.

Candidates must have completed 12-Semester or 18-Quarter units in early childhood education covering child development, family/Community, and program/Curriculum, or hold a bachelor's degree in early childhood development. Essential qualities include patience, compassion, a genuine love for young children, and strong communication skills, with prior teaching experience being preferred.
