Cross Country Coach

The coach is responsible for providing coaching, development, and supervision for the athletic program, reporting to the athletic director or head coach. Key duties include communicating expectations, managing program finances, ensuring athlete safety, and developing detailed practice and character development plans.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and obtaining specific certifications like asep, chsaa, and nfhs coaching fundamentals upon position acceptance. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of the sport, effective leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student education.
