Home Health Student Nurse Internship - Charleston, SC

Interns will assist registered nurses in providing direct patient care within home settings, which includes conducting patient assessments, documenting findings, and participating in care planning under rn supervision. Responsibilities also involve practicing empathetic communication with patients and families while strictly adhering to all clinical protocols and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited lpn, adn, or bsn program with an expected graduation date between december 2026 and summer 2027, and must commit to 40 hours per week for 8 weeks during the summer. Essential requirements include a valid driver’s license, completion of at least one acute care clinical rotation, and active basic life support (Bls) certification from the american heart association.
