Teacher - ESE IRR (2026-2027 SY), Hickory Flat Elementary

The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering specialized instruction, developing and monitoring individual education programs (Ieps) and individual learning plans (Ilps), and collaborating with general education staff and parents to maximize student achievement. This role also requires developing data-Driven behavior management strategies, including fbas and bips, and ensuring compliance with all due process procedures.

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a valid georgia educator certificate or meet district qualifications, demonstrating knowledge of special education processes and research-Based practices. Essential requirements include the ability to maintain confidentiality, work effectively with stakeholders, adhere to professional ethics, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and potentially assisting students with severe disabilities.
