Long-Term Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher will maintain instructional continuity by delivering instruction aligned with iep goals and lesson plans for students with special needs. Responsibilities also include documenting progress, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families, and maintaining classroom structure through behavior management strategies.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in special education, education, or a related field, along with a valid pennsylvania teaching certification in special education or a substitute certification. Essential qualities include strong communication, collaboration skills, patience, empathy, and a commitment to individualized student support.
