Core responsibilities
The professional mentor will develop and sustain long-Term, loving relationships with eight elementary school children, setting positive expectations, nurturing strengths, and teaching life and academic skills. Responsibilities also include partnering with parents/Caregivers, reinforcing academic skills, and maintaining detailed documentation of all activities.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be willing to commit for a minimum of three years and either possess a 2 or 4-Year degree or have at least seven years of progressive experience working with children and families. Essential abilities include strong interpersonal skills, the capacity to develop trusting relationships, independent work capability, and strong organizational and communication skills.
