Direct Support Professional

This position involves assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities, including health, personal management, recreation, and household living. The role also requires maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment to improve functioning and minimize interfering behaviors.

Candidates must possess either a high school diploma/Ged with two years of related experience or an associate's degree with one year of related experience, along with a valid ny driver's license. Essential personal attributes include being flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and having a sense of humor, coupled with a strong passion for helping those with special needs.
