Direct Support Professional

This position involves assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities such as health and personal management, achieving personal goals, recreation, and daily household living. The role also requires maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment to improve functioning and minimize interfering behaviors.

A high school diploma or ged is required for this position, with 2 years of related experience preferred, or an associate's degree with 1 year of experience. Candidates must also possess a valid ny driver's license and demonstrate flexibility, patience, energy, creativity, and a strong passion for helping individuals with special needs.
