Core responsibilities
The behavior specialist assists the board certified behavior analyst (Bcba) with assessing and treating challenging behaviors, consulting on treatment plans, and providing training and oversight to direct support professionals. Responsibilities also include collecting and inputting behavioral service data and conducting integrity assessments of current behavior support plans.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field, along with registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification. A minimum of two years of experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder or intellectual/Developmental disabilities is required, along with a valid driver's license.
