Core responsibilities
The behavior specialist will assist the bcba with assessing and treating challenging behaviors, consulting on isp goals, and providing training, oversight, and monitoring to direct support professionals regarding behavioral support. Responsibilities also include data collection, inputting notes, providing required service hours per consumer, and conducting observations/Integrity assessments of current behavior support plans (Bsp).
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field, along with registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification, and have at least two years of experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder or intellectual/Developmentally disabled clients. Additional requirements include being 18 or older, having a valid non-Provisional driver's license, and demonstrating solid interpersonal and communication skills.
