Emotional Behavior Teacher K-2-Special Education Teacher

The teacher coordinates and provides direct instructional programs for special education students based on their individual education programs (Ieps), monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Essential duties include developing and implementing ieps, employing various teaching methods, monitoring student behavior, and collaborating with the team during iep meetings.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area, along with a valid driver's license. Required knowledge includes instructional practices, curriculum standards, state/Federal policies, and proficiency in microsoft office and google apps.
