Position Overview
We are seeking qualified and dedicated nursing professionals to join our team as a Community Health Nurse II. This role is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care in a variety of settings, including clinics, homes, schools, and community environments. This position operates under moderate supervision and follows a standard work schedule. Candidates should be prepared to work in environments where they may encounter a range of health conditions and community-based challenges.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience (One of the following): Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse OR Associate degree in Nursing and four (4) years of clinical nursing experience Licensure: Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland or a Multi-State Licensure Compact license Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of nursing practices, procedures, and professional standards Knowledge of community health resources and services Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate community health programs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships Organizational and administrative capabilities Additional Requirements Candidates may be required to successfully complete a criminal background check and/or fingerprinting Selected candidates must complete a six-month probationary period Education must be obtained from an accredited institution (international degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency) Selection Process Qualified applicants who meet minimum requirements will be placed on an eligible list.
