Licensed Practical Nurse (10-Month Position School Environment)

• Position Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide quality patient care in clinical, home, and community-based settings.
• This role supports patient care under the direction of a physician or registered nurse.
• This position may require flexibility, including rotating shifts, evenings, and weekends.
• Work is performed in environments where exposure to illness, disease, and high-demand situations may occur.
• Key Responsibilities Provide practical nursing care to patients and clients Support physicians and registered nurses in delivering care Monitor patient conditions and report updates Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Maryland or a Multi-State Licensure Compact license Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of practical nursing practices and standards Ability to provide quality patient care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain accurate records Ability to work effectively with healthcare teams and patients Additional Requirements Must be willing to complete a criminal background check and/or fingerprinting if selected Selected candidates must complete a six-month probationary period Education must be from an accredited institution (international education must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency)
