Direct Support Professional Day Services

The direct support professional provides quality support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their inclusion in the community. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, teaching functional skills, and ensuring the health and safety of individuals served.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged and experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred. Key skills include the ability to read and write in english, moderate mathematics skills, and proficiency in interpersonal communication.
