Community Educator WIC Nutrition

The community educator is responsible for overseeing and implementing a specialty program, providing outreach, education, and training to various community entities, and ensuring equitable coverage across the service area. Essential duties include planning and supervising grant operations, collaborating with partners, delivering programming, and managing data collection and reporting requirements.

This role requires 1-2 years of experience in work related to the grant, including delivering educational programs and individual counseling, and interpreting funding regulations. A bachelor's degree in health sciences, behavioral services, nursing, education, or a related field is preferred, along with essential skills like excellent communication, organization, and the ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines.
