Early Childhood Special Educator

The teacher will develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for children who are deaf or hard of hearing while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. They are responsible for fostering a supportive classroom environment, monitoring student progress, and ensuring optimal auditory access through equipment maintenance.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and nys certification in deaf/Hh education or early childhood special education. Experience with the preschool age group is preferred, along with a commitment to the listening and spoken language approach.
