Early Intervention Teacher

The teacher conducts evaluations and provides individual and group early intervention special instruction and support services, utilizing a parent coaching approach to enhance caregiver capacity for supporting the child's development, amplification use, and listening and spoken language techniques.

Candidates must possess nys certification in deaf/Hard of hearing education or early childhood special education, and demonstrate a commitment to the listening and spoken language approach, with a bachelor's or master's degree in deaf/Hard of hearing education being preferred.
