The Pre-K Counts Teacher will plan and implement educational objectives and activities in the classroom while documenting ongoing observations and assessments of each child. Additionally, the teacher will work with families to set individualized goals for child development and supervise teacher assistants.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with a preference for Level I or Level II Certification. Experience with preschool-aged children and familiarity with Head Start and Pre-K Counts programs is preferred.
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required. Level I or Level 2 Certification in Early Childhood Education preferred. Experience working with pre-school age children, Background in managing challenging behavior, Familiarity with Head Start and Pre-K Counts program preferred. Must be able to provide or successfully obtain child abuse, state police, fingerprint-based criminal background, and sex offender registry clearances. Initial health examination and TB test required.
