The Support Teacher is responsible for the operational side of the private preschool, focusing on ensuring children have a safe and enjoyable lunch and rest period under the Director's supervision. Key duties include maintaining a safe environment, cleaning, assisting with transitions, helping children rest, and supporting primary teachers with various tasks like changing diapers.
Prior experience working with children is considered a plus, and candidates should ideally have knowledge of safe sleep environments and awareness of Colorado OEC Licensing Rules and Regulations, although training will be provided. Essential attributes include being timely, reliable, enthusiastic, organized, open-minded, and loving children.
