The paraprofessional assists teachers in preparing educational materials and works with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning. They also manage daily classroom routines, monitor student activities, and maintain learning environments.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or ged and pass the gace para assessment or possess at least 60 semester hours of college credit. Additionally, the role requires the ability to obtain a georgia psc paraprofessional certificate and meet specific physical demands.
