The teacher is responsible for designing and delivering standards-aligned, data-driven instruction to foster student growth in a K-5 classroom. They must also maintain a productive learning environment while coordinating with parents, coaches, and administrators to support student development.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid Michigan teaching certificate or be eligible for the Career Advancement Program. A satisfactory criminal background check is also required for employment.

The Elementary Teacher delivers engaging, data-driven instruction in a K–5 classroom setting, manages classroom culture, and supports the whole-child development of each student.
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for extended periods. Work environment includes elevated noise levels.
