- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time Collection Management Librarian to join the team!
- What you will do: Work full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) 8am- 4:30pm Monday through Friday Responsible for the selection, acquisition, deselection and management of library resources – both print and digital.
- Analyze user needs and circulation data to build collections that align with patron needs and organizational goals.
- Develops and maintains library webpages.
- Serves as technology and operational support for library’s electronic resources.
- Responsible for all aspects of collection development and management.
- Catalogs and classifies library materials using the National Library of Medicine Classification System, MeSH, MARC, and Planetree Classification System.
- Loads and maintains bibliographic records into the integrated library system (ILS) from electronic resource vendors, OCLC, WisCat, National Library of Medicine, and other libraries.
- Monitors e-book and journal subscriptions and incorporates updates and changes into the integrated library system (ILS).
