The Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech and language services to students in grades 6-12, including evaluations, IEP development, and push-in/pull-out support. They will also collaborate with teachers and families to implement accommodations and track student progress using data-driven instruction.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree and be a licensed, ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist. Experience supporting students with special needs and a commitment to inclusive education are required.
About Boston Prep Boston Prep is a college-preparatory charter public district, made up of a single-site middle and high school. In 2025-2026, our community will include 700 students in grades 6-12, nearly 500 alumni, over 150 faculty members, and hundreds of families. As a Speech Language Pathologist...
Education, Qualifications, and Certifications/Licensure: Education Bachelor’s degree or a related field required Master’s degree required
Experience supporting struggling students through targeted interventions Licensed, ASHA Certified Speech Language Pathologist. Commitment to the philosophy that all students, regardless of disability should be given the opportunity to succeed at the same level as their peers and should be fully expected to do so. Prior experience facilitating the high achievement of Special Education students.
Valid Massachusetts teaching license in the appropriate subject area. OR A passing score on the Communications & Literacy MTEL, as well as a MTEL in the content area(s) they teach within their first year of employment at Boston Prep An SEI Endorsement (core academic and special education teachers only) as defined by DESE, within their first year of employment at Boston Prep
The salary range for this role is $74,406 - $125,759. Final compensation will be based on years of experience. More specific compensation information can be shared upon request.
