This role focuses on guiding children ages 2–3 through important developmental milestones while incorporating Christian values and biblical principles into daily learning and care.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive care and supervision for toddlers (ages 2–3) Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities Incorporate simple Bible stories, songs, and Christian teachings into daily routines Model Christ-like behavior including kindness, patience, and respect Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Assist with potty training, meals, and daily routines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Encourage positive behavior and promote a loving, faith-based environment Observe and document children’s progress and milestones Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and daily activities Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or early childhood education preferred) Experience working with toddlers or in a childcare setting preferred A personal commitment to the Christian faith and comfort sharing biblical principles with young children Strong communication and classroom management skills Patience, flexibility, and a passion for early childhood development Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and actively engage with children Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
