Position Summary

Florida Atlantic University is seeking several After School Counselors - Boca Raton, FL. A.D. Henderson School is seeking several responsible and enthusiastic FAU undergraduate students to serve as After School Counselors for students in grades K–8. This role provides a rewarding opportunity to support children in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment during after-school hours. Counselors will supervise assigned students in both classroom and play settings, lead creative and physical activities, assist with homework, and help ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with children and committed to fostering a fun, secure, and supportive atmosphere. Summary of Responsibilities: Provide direct supervision in play areas and classroom settings to ensure the safety and security of the students enrolled in the Henderson after School Program. Plan engaging art and other related activities for students. Organize and supervise sports and physical activities. Assist students with homework assignments. Provide a safe and fun after-school experience. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.0 GPA required.
