The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing preschool children to prepare them for Kindergarten. They manage classroom operations, implement curriculum, and build relationships with families to support child achievement.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and experience leading a classroom. They must be at least 18 years old and capable of meeting state childcare requirements and physical activity demands.
The State Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.
Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options. $21.00-$22.00 Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees All employees in Colorado are eligible for paid sick leave, as required by the Healthy Families Work Act. Full-time employees are provided with 48 hours upon hire and annually each fiscal year thereafter. Part-time and temporary employees earn paid sick leave based upon hours worked.
