Job description
Job Purpose/Description
Teaching Assistants for OTH 6001 Occupational Performance I
Fundamentals of Occupation AND OTH 6210 Basic Tenets of OT.
- Job Duties
- Support to OTH faculty teaching courses
- Provide office hours to support first year student learning in courses
- Host review sessions
- Proctor exams
- Grade assignments
- Competency/practical testing
- Setup/cleanup for class activities
- Required Qualifications
- Must be a current CSS student
- In the OT 2027 Cohort
- Students must be in good academic status
- Students must be in good behavioral professional status
Preferred Qualifications
• Federal work study eligibility is preferred
- Special Instructions to Applicants
- The following positions are currently open for Summer 2026
- Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for SDLs (some Thursdays based on exams/competencies and holiday weeks)
- Position begins around June 1 through July 24. Approximately 10 hours per week maximum
- Two TA positions are available with responsibilities in both summer courses
