The ideal candidate will be passionate about Catholic education, committed to fostering the spiritual and academic development of students, and eager to contribute to the mission of a Catholic, Lasallian college preparatory high school.
The Religion Teacher will create a respectful and thoughtful classroom environment that encourages students to deepen their understanding of Catholic theology, morality, scripture, service, and faith formation.
Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Education, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Prior teaching experience preferred, particularly at the high school level. Practicing Catholic. Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Commitment to Catholic and Lasallian education. Ability to pass required background checks and complete onboarding requirements.
Schedule Full-time, 10-month faculty position following the academic calendar of St. John’s College High School. Compensation and Benefits
