Job description
- Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a daytime in-home ABA therapy opportunity in Suffolk, VA 23434. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic RBT to provide 1:1 ABA therapy services while helping children with autism build communication, behavioral, social, and daily living skills. Position Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy services in the client’s home
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record session data accurately
- Support development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and professional therapy environment
- Collaborate with supervisors regarding client progress and treatment implementation
Schedule Requirements
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Consistent availability during the listed schedule is required. Schedules are generally aligned with client and operational needs; however, occasional schedule adjustments or Saturdays may be required based on operational or client needs.
Requirements
- Prior ABA, childcare, education, or child-related experience required
- Active RBT certification preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable providing services in-home
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong communication and professionalism required
- Passion for working with children with autism and developmental needs
