- The Behavioral Health Worker I provides behavioral health interventions for children with trauma ages 2-5 years, in a therapeutic classroom milieu.

Responsibilities
· Provide individual and group treatment; complete documentation; offer patient support as needed. · Deliver direct behavioral health services to children and adolescents, ages 2 - 5 in a therapeutic group milieu setting. · Support youth experiencing acute or chronic crises to prevent hospitalization or more restrictive placements. · Use evidence‑based treatment methods, crisis/safety interventions, reinforcement strategies, emotional support, structured activities, and (when necessary) passive restraint as part of the treatment plan. · Work collaboratively within a trans‑disciplinary team under supervision of senior staff. · Develop, assess, facilitate, and monitor individualized or group treatment plans with the team. · Evaluate and track treatment goals based on assessments and evidence‑based practices. · Participate in creating, implementing, and monitoring behavioral and functional assessments. · Assist with data management for program evaluation; share findings with clinical team members. · Monitor and document daily progress notes, data collection, summaries, and graphs for assigned patients. · Support patient satisfaction efforts among parents, teachers, outside agencies, and children. · Maintain positive, professional rapport with coworkers, patients, and visitors. · Provide group intervention in the clinic. · Help families stabilize the child and encourage age‑appropriate behaviors. · Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in inter‑agency meetings when possible. · Assist parents, teachers, childcare workers, and other professionals with implementing behavior programs designed by BCBAs or clinicians. · Follow each patient’s individualized treatment plan. · Notify supervisor/team promptly of significant changes in client behavior or circumstances. · Maintain accurate, timely records of all patient interactions and meetings. · Protect confidentiality and interact respectfully with children, adolescents, and families. · Attend mandatory team meetings and staff development trainings. · Perform duties in alignment with organizational competencies and complete other tasks as assigned.
· Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or similar human service-related field. o If Bachelor's degree in any other field, must have at least one year of full-time paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with children or adolescents. · One of the following certifications would be preferred but not required; RBT. ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR BACHELOR LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR CONSIDERATION.
