Provide specialized instruction and guidance to youth with special needs in accordance with IEPs and curriculum standards. Maintain a safe learning environment while fostering social, emotional, and academic growth through the AMIkids Personal Growth Model.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and a current SPED/ESE Teaching Certification. Experience with high-risk youth is preferred.
The ESE/SPED Teacher role provides instruction and guidance to youth within the appropriate grade and/or academic level. Assess and teach youth with special needs in accordance to recognized curriculum standards, and compliance with instructional guidelines as defined by the local School District and educational systems. Primary objective is the realization of AMIkids mission to provide a safe and successful learning environment for youth, while encouraging social and emotional development through the achievement of academic and personal goals.
