We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech and Life Skills Trainer to join our team and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

TO DO List

Monday: Tutor Carter with online high school classes and study skills.

Tuesday

Training with Jack at the fire training center to practice skills to return to work as a firefighter.

Wednesday

Assist Ashley in making snack bags for her 4-year-old son.

Thursday

Drive Emily to Starbucks to practice speech strategies while ordering and during conversation.

Friday

Collaborate with John’s clinical and residential teams to envision, and plan for life beyond QLI. This is a real snapshot of a typical week of a Speech and Life Skills Trainer at QLI!

Education and Certifications

• Must be 18 years or older. (required) Certified as a Nursing Assistant (required). We will provide PAID certification training, for the right candidate. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Vaccination
• Requirements: Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season. If needed, we will provide vaccination at QLI, free of charge.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours/week (includes one weekend day)
• Location: On-site (in-person) 6404 N 70th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68104
