Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based speech-language pathology services to students in a K-12 setting, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy delivery.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals and document progress for each student.
- Deliver direct and indirect services (individual and small-group therapy) and collaborate with classroom staff, special education teams, and families.
- Conduct screenings as assigned, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain compliant documentation in accordance with district policies and state requirements.
- Adjust therapy plans to align with student needs, track outcomes, and communicate progress to stakeholders; ensure a supportive, inclusive therapy environment.
Requirements
- Active Oregon state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a school setting and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in a school-based or educational setting preferred; new graduates considered if eligible
- Willingness to travel to multiple school sites within the district as needed
