Oversee the collection of evaluation data, using a variety of technology, on learning outcomes for simulation activities/experiences and collaborate with faculty to disseminate findings. Attend related, required meetings, providing input on the clinical simulation aspects of the nursing programs, and working with fellow faculty to strengthen simulation strategies across the curriculum with a focus on competency-based education. Maintain proficiency in existing and emerging simulation technologies through learning and development education and research activities. Assist in the dissemination of scholarly work related to simulated learning activities and innovation. With appropriate notice, work at night and/or on weekends, if needed. Assist with student simulation and skill make up experiences. Perform other job duties, as assigned. Off-Campus Clinical Experiences: Manage patient/client care provided by a group of students (usually 8 students in a group) while students complete their clinical rotation in an area of specialty. Coordinate with charge nurse/staff at the clinical site to make student patient assignments. Supervise students performing nursing-related duties in the clinical environment. Evaluate students’ assignments related to their clinical experience. Debrief with students in a post-conference environment. Become and maintain compliant with all requirements at varying agencies. Develop and/or expand connections with agencies that facilitate learning experiences. Assist with student clinical make up experiences. Attend related/required meetings with course coordinators and faculty in courses where students are supervised in the clinical environment.
