Job description

  • Founded in 1890, the Trager Family Jewish Community Center (JCC) is a nonprofit agency dedicated to enriching lives through physical, intellectual, and spiritual wellness.
  • Open to the entire community, we offer robust programming in health and wellness, education, Jewish culture, youth and senior engagement, and more.
  • Our Early Learning Center, located within the state-of-the-art Roth Family Education Center, serves 165 children in 12 developmentally focused classrooms.
  • Our facilities include an interactive playground, a serene outdoor classroom, and safe, stimulating learning environments tailored for young children.

  • Support classroom routines and implement behavior management strategies.

  • Participate actively in play, care routines, and classroom experiences.
  • Be physically able to interact with children at their level (sitting on floor, lifting, etc.).

Qualifications

Experience with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting is preferred. Understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices. A nurturing, patient, and positive attitude.
