Job description

Salary Range

$50,000-$126,000 annually. Placement on the Phillips Academy salary scale is based on years of experience.

  • Phillips Academy seeks an Instructor in English for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • This is a one-year / non-continuing position.
  • We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about teaching our core diploma requirement courses.
  • We seek dynamic candidates who will be active participants not only in the academic program but also in the athletics/fitness and residential programs at this boarding school.
  • A master’s degree plus a minimum of three years’ teaching experience preferred.
