St. Jude Regional Catholic School, a faith-filled Catholic school serving students in PreK–8th grade, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher/History for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will foster a love of physical activity, promote healthy lifestyles, and support the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of students within a Catholic educational environment. Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Education classes to students in PreK–8th grade.
• Develop and implement engaging lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits.
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Organize and coordinate school-wide fitness activities and special events.
• Maintain appropriate student records and communicate regularly with parents.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the mission and goals of the school.
• Model Christian values and actively support the Catholic identity of the school.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree Maryland teaching certification or obtain one 3-5 years from hiring dates Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education. Practicing Catholic preferred.
