Job description

Sports Performance Coach – The Adirondack Club

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

About The Adirondack Club

The Adirondack Club is the region’s premier performance and wellness facility, committed to developing athletes across all stages—from foundational youth development through collegiate-level performance. Our approach is rooted in evidence-informed training, individualized programming, and a commitment to measurable, long-term athletic development.

We serve a diverse athlete population and emphasize structured progression, performance outcomes, and high-quality coaching standards within a collaborative professional environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sports Performance Coach dedicated to developing athletes and delivering measurable results across a wide age and ability spectrum. This role is ideal for a coach who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to engage, motivate, and progress athletes ranging from youth beginners to competitive high school and collegiate performers.

The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of long-term athletic development principles, experience in program design, and the ability to adapt coaching strategies to meet the evolving needs of each athlete. This is an opportunity to contribute within a structured, high-performance environment while continuing to refine and expand your coaching practice.

  • Who Thrives Here
  • Coaches who take a professional, career-oriented approach to strength and conditioning—not just session-based training
  • Individuals who are process-driven and results-focused, with a commitment to measurable athlete outcomes
  • Those who value structured programming, assessment, and long-term development models over one-size-fits-all training
  • Coaches who are confident working with both youth athletes and advanced performers, and can scale coaching appropriately
  • Professionals who prioritize continuous learning, staying current with research and best practices in sports performance
  • Team-oriented individuals who contribute to a collaborative coaching environment while also building their own impact
  • Coaches who bring energy and presence on the floor, balanced with discipline, organization, and attention to detail
