The Assistant Coach provides technical expertise in soccer fundamentals and assists the Head Coach with recruiting, program development, and team management. They are also responsible for mentoring student-athletes and ensuring all activities comply with NCAA rules and regulations.
A bachelor's degree and at least one year of relevant experience are required, while a master's degree and intercollegiate coaching experience are preferred. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills and a knowledge of NCAA eligibility and recruitment rules.

The Assistant Men's Soccer Coach is responsible for specifically designated aspects of the men's soccer program, exercises independent judgment in providing technical expertise in the fundamentals of the sport, teaching student-athletes basic and advanced skills, and assisting the Head Men's Soccer Coach in management of the team through recruiting, program development, fund-raising, promotional activities, and related assigned responsibilities. The Assistant Men's Soccer Coach guides and mentors student-athletes throughout the academic year.

Bachelor's degree in any relevant field of study with minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Master's degree in any relevant field of study. At least two years of experience in coaching at the intercollegiate level is strongly preferred, however, extensive player experience at the collegiate level can be substituted for the coaching experience. Coaching experience in a NCAA Division I level program is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations governing recruitment, eligibility and related functions is also preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Management and organizational skills are required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.
