Requires an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement and current IDFPR licensure. Previous school-based experience is preferred.
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – K–8 School-Based Position
Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Grade Levels: Kindergarten–8th Grade Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week Setting: Onsite School Year Dates: August 3, 2026 – June 4, 2027 Caseload & Responsibilities Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and 504 Plans Deliver all required IEP and 504 service minutes Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations as needed Attend IEP and 504 meetings as a related service provider Develop, write, and maintain all speech-language components of student IEPs and 504 Plans Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to support goal attainment Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary team members
