Our Organization is seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Psychologist to support a progressive Illinois school district from April 6 through May 21 (end of the school year). This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding students toward academic success, emotional well-being, and healthy social development.
As a key contributor to the student services team, you will apply your expertise in psychological evaluation, intervention planning, and consultative support to ensure students receive the resources and guidance they need. You’ll perform comprehensive assessments, provide counseling and behavioral support, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized and effective solutions.
Conduct observations of students in classrooms and various school settings to gain valuable insights. Provide compassionate counseling, instruction, and mentoring to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Promote wellness and resilience by reinforcing communication skills, social skills, problem-solving abilities, anger management, self-regulation, self-determination, and optimism.
Prior school-based experience is highly preferred. Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills. A master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or Educational Psychology is required. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required.
